Maroon Lake Scenic Trail

The Maroon Lake Scenic Trail does not exist within Great Sand Dunes National Park. In reality, the Maroon Lake Scenic Trail is located near Aspen, Colorado, within the White River National Forest. Visitors to Great Sand Dunes National Park will find North America's tallest sand dunes and alpine wilderness, but no Maroon Lake.
