Great Basin National Park

Great Basin National Park does not exist within Zion National Park. Great Basin National Park is an independent national park located in eastern Nevada, while Zion National Park is situated in southwestern Utah. History

Established in 1986, Great Basin National Park preserves the unique features of the Great Basin region, including its geological formations and diverse flora and fauna. The park is home to some of the oldest living trees on Earth, the bristlecone pines, which are believed to be over 4,000 years old.
