Avenida Peru started its humble beginning in Chef Karlo Caceres’ tiny two-bedroom apartment during the Pandemic. The food became a big hit because of hard-to-find Peruvian dishes and delicious flavors, and it grew from word-of-mouth into a brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Avenida operates as a sanguchería offering traditional Peruvian dishes for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Guests relish the food dishes like the Butifarra sandwich with slices of country-style Jamon del país, mustard, lettuce, and tangy salsa criolla.

  • The restaurant cooks traditional and street-food Peruvian (Lima) dishes, including Lomo Saltado served with hand-cut fries, a variety of Ceviche dishes, rocoto relleno (a rare dish), papas a la huancaína, ají de gallina, etc.
