Expert notes
- We highly recommend visiting Angel Oak during the morning hours when the light is perfect for photography. Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during their visit. Visitors can take a stroll around the tree and admire its sheer size and beauty. They can also take photographs of the tree and its surroundings, which make for a great keepsake. Arrive early in the morning to avoid the crowds and have ample time to explore the place. Bring insect repellent to keep bugs at bay, especially during the summer months. Stay on the designated paths and do not climb on the tree or its branches, as this can damage the tree.
