History
Los Angeles City Hall was completed in 1928, following a design competition that selected the winning proposal from architects John Parkinson, John C. Austin, and Albert C. Martin Sr. It served as the tallest building in Los Angeles until 1964 due to a city law that limited building height. It has been featured in numerous movies and television shows and is recognized as a Historic-Cultural Monument.
