Housed in a historic Victorian mansion in Hollywood, The Magic Castle serves as the private clubhouse for the Academy of Magical Arts. Visitors can experience world-class sleight-of-hand illusions across multiple intimate performance rooms, secret passageways, and dining areas. Entry requires an invitation from an Academy member or a reservation package through the adjacent Magic Castle Hotel.
History
Since its opening in 1963, The Magic Castle has been the headquarters for the Academy of Magical Arts, preserving the legacy of magic and fostering a network of magic aficionados. It was originally built in 1909 and transformed into the mystical gathering place it is today by Milt Larsen.
