History
Originally launched as a pop-up project in 2015, Quartyard was born out of a graduate thesis project by students from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design. Their vision was to create a public space that fostered community engagement and urban revitalization, which quickly became a reality and a beloved part of San Diego's downtown area.
