The Immaculata Church

History

Built in 1959, The Immaculata Church was envisioned by Mother Rosalie Hill and designed by architect Frank Hope. It was established to serve as the heart of the then-San Diego College for Women, which is now part of the University of San Diego. Since its consecration, the church has been a focal point for Catholic worship and a landmark of the community.
