The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian

Founded in 1937, the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian is New Mexico's oldest independent non-profit museum devoted to Native American art. Located on Museum Hill in Santa Fe, it features rotating exhibitions of traditional and contemporary jewelry, textiles, ceramics, and mixed media. Visitors can also shop for authentic artwork and crafts at the historic Case Trading Post located on site.

History
