4.3$$· ModerateFresh seafood and craft beer on the historic Santa Monica Pier
Located directly on the Santa Monica Pier, The Albright is a rustic-chic fish house offering fresh local seafood, craft beer, and wine. Guests can enjoy popular dishes like clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, whole steamed lobster, and oysters at communal seating with ocean views. It provides a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience right along the coast.
History
The Albright's legacy began over four decades ago when Yun and Greg King took ownership of the location, then known as SM Pier Seafood. They transformed it into a welcoming space that paid homage to the local culture. In 2013, their daughter Yunnie Kim Morena gave the eatery a fresh look and rebranded it as The Albright, continuing the family tradition of serving fresh and sustainable seafood dishes.
