History

Opened on March 20, 1999, Legoland California was the third Legoland park to be established globally. It was built on the site of the former Chanute Field Naval Station in Carlsbad, CA. Over the years, it has expanded to include a water park and an aquarium, continually adding new attractions and areas such as Ninjago World and LEGO Friends Heartlake City.
