Mount Massive

Mount Massive does not exist within Great Sand Dunes National Park. The actual Mount Massive is a 14,428-foot peak located in the Sawatch Range near Leadville, Colorado, over 100 miles north of the park. Visitors seeking high peaks in the region surrounding Great Sand Dunes should instead explore the adjacent Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
