USS Midway Museum

History

Commissioned a week after the end of World War II, the USS Midway served the United States for an incredible 47 years, from 1945 to 1992. It is the longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century, witnessing the Cold War, Vietnam War, and Operation Desert Storm.
