Walk Disney Family Museum is an excellent place for Disney fans or curious minds looking to be inspired. The first half of the museum may be less exciting for toddlers than for youths and adults.
- The museum mainly showcases the ten galleries chronologically, starting with Walt Disney’s early days, including his childhood, early successes, challenges, humanitarian services, family life, post-World War II production ventures, and his demise with interactive displays and videos.
- Admire the most impressive Disneyland model in the center of the room with its attention to detail, Steamboat Willie. There is also a massive collection of Mickey Mouse merchandise and exhibits, Walt’s personal mini-train he used to ride in his backyard, and sketch art from multiple movies.
- Be prepared to do a lot of reading for a most immersive exhibit experience.

- General admission is free year-round for active, retired, and veteran military personnel and their spouses and dependents with valid IDs. Museum also offers free general admission to active-duty military personnel and up to five family members with valid ID between Armed Forces Day and Labor Day.
